Eye CT scan: Orbit ct means a ct scan of the structures around the eye. It is typically used to identify abscesses (infections) of the eye area, broken bones around the eye socket, and presence of foreign bodies (tumors, trauma) in the eye socket.

CT of the eyes: Orbital ct is focussed on imaging the eyes, bony eye sockets, ocular nerves and muscles. Usually used to look for a tumor. Frequently requires IV contrast to be given.
