A lot: Orbital ct is best for showing the bones and acute bleeding in the orbit. It is also good for delineating the differences in some tissue including muscles and fat. It is usually used in trauma to look at broken bones, bleeding or infection. It is also helpful in looking at orbital tumors and for certain types of foreign bodies.
