More detailed: It is immaging sprcific to the area of the brachial plexus. Done as a reg mr in same machine tho you may have a coil arount the area to help the mr see. Done for a problem in that area. Like aiming a gun. You have the magnatron aimed at the plexus and very detailed immages from many angles are made. Top-bottem, side-side and front-back. Very precise.

MRI: Or magnetic resonance imaging is a type of imaging test used to visualize the internal structures of the body. It is very good at seeing the soft tissues of the body. The brachial plexus is a network of nerve fibers that run from the neck through the armpit into the arms. If a patient has certain types of neurologic symptoms, the doctor may order an MRI of the brachial plexus to evaluate.
