Fibroadenoma breast: Benign lump in the breast composed of fibrous/connective tissues and glandular tissue. It is the most common breast tumor in adolescent women. Unlike typical lumps from breast cancer, fibroadenoma is easy to move, with clearly defined edges. It is usually diagnosed through breast exam, sono, mammogram and a needle biopsy for a definitive answer.

Type of benign lump: Breast fibroadenoma is relatively common, and its since does not change rapidly. It can often be felt when a woman slef-examines her breast or by a physician. A fine needle aspirate can usually reveal its nature as a benign growth. See your physician and tell your doc whenver you find any new lump.
