Normal: It's a common benign growth in the breast, not associated with cancer. You may continue to make these. Regular self-exam can familiarize you with how lumpy you may be all the time. If you feel something new or very different have your primary care provider check it.

Depends: Fibrocystic disease of the breast (fcb) is annoying but not dangerous. It makes screening examination of the breast & mammography more difficult. Ultrasound & needle biopsy is needed at times to be sure it is just fcb. There are reports from britain that going without a bra helps this quite a bit.
