A reaction on eating: An allergy to a food is due to an immune system reaction. It can lead to hives, an itchy rash, swelling, tingling, swelling of the lips/tongue/mouth, vomiting, belly pain diarrhea, cough, shortness of breath, low blood pressure and unconsciousness. Lentil allergy can be performed by blood and skin testing. I recommend bringing in the prepared lentil for prick on prick testing to diagnose this.
