Gynecomastia: Onside effect of spironolactone is increased urinary frequency. Others are ataxia, drowsiness, dry skin, and rashes. It can also cause gynecomastia, testicular atrophy, and sexual dysfunction consisting of loss of libido and erectile dysfunction in males and in females it can cause menstrual irregularity.
