Tree nut allergy: Tree nut allergy is an immune mediated allergic reaction that occurs after consumption of tree nuts- the list includes many nuts such as walnuts, pecans, cashews, almonds, brazil nut, pistachios. Patients usually present with hives, itching, swelling, cough, wheeze, chest tightness, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
