I recently got a mirena (levonorgestrel) iud in 6 months ago and ever since i get very dizzy and almost blackout at the time of my period , is this normal ?

Not normal: However it may not be caused by the Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud. If you have bad cramps with your period you can also feel lightheaded. If you don't have bad cramps it may be something else.
