Dry eyes: Some antipsychotic medicines can definitely cause dry eyes, but this usually improves with dose reductions or medication changes. Meaning, this should not be permanent. Please tell your prescribing physician about what's happening, and monitor your other systems such as urinary, GI including mouth dryness and constipation, etc. Your doctor will want to know how those are working too.

Dry eyes temporary: It's a common side effect of antipsychotic an anticholinergic side effect. It usually goes away on discontinuation or decrease in the dose of antipsychotic. Ask your physician to either decrease if possible or else change the medication.

No.: Once you stop or change medications the dryness will improve. If you can't stop/change medications then you can use artificial tears to reduce the dryness symptoms.
