Medication dosage: The diabetes medications you take (e.g. Pills/tablets and Insulin shots) are dosed according to your average blood sugar variance throughout the day and night. This is heavily dependent on your food & drink intake. If you don't eat, your blood sugar will be lower than usual. If you then take your usual med dose, the blood sugar will drop further to dangerous levels.
