LEAVE: Medicare is right. Unless there are complications that are reported by the physician, twenty days is perfectly adequate, if one is at a competent rehab center. If you need further rehab, and have not reached optimal functioning, you are eligible for outpatient rehabilitation and physical therapy. Get moving.
