Abscess: As a general rule the application of warm moist packs to this multiple times a day will bring it to a head, allow it to rupture and drain. Catching it before it gets bigger is not a likely scenario. If it does not clear with drainage then you may need antibiotics, for which you should see a doctor. Good luck.
