A member asked:

Was prescribed lyrica (pregabalin) for "nerve repair". however, it seems to be described online as a product more for suppressing symptoms. which is true?

FDA indications: Lyrica (pregabalin) has many approved indications, especially for diabetic nerve pain. It can control certain seizures also. It helps by controlling symptoms and events. It does not cure underlying conditions, and, in no way, acts to "repair nerve" (although metanx may do this a bit?). Sounds like there is a communication issue. Clarify with your doc.
