See your dentist: Long term splint therapy can cause changes in your bite. If you are not sure, see your dentist or the person who made the splint for a follow up. There may be other treatment options that can help.

Splint: Sometimes wearing a splint on the top of the teeth for a long time period can cause your back teeth to be pushed down or front teeth to grow out(overerupt). The bite will hit on front teeth and be unstable. There must be a treatment plan to establish this imbalance. If they do not have a plan to follow or you are uncomfortable with your treatment, get a second opinion.

Possibly: Splints have different designs. If yours makes contact with front teeth only, the posterior teeth will passively erupt and hit first. The opposite is also true, if designed so as to contact posterior teeth, your front teeth may have passively erupted and now are the only ones in contact. See dentist asap. Good luck.
