See your dentist: A whitish appearance on your cheeck could be anything from a cheek bite to cancer. If the skin is sloughing off that is not normal. See your dentist right away for a consultation.

Cheek lining: The tartar control chemical in toothpaste will cause the lining of your cheek to peal off in a number of people. Use a non-tartar control toothpaste and see if the pealing doesn't stop. I personally prefer closys toothpaste (and mouth rinse). It may take a week or so for the pealing to stop.

Plaque: Dental plaque is a sticky, colorless film that continually forms in between and on the surface of the teeth. Dental plaque is a biofilm that is made up of microorganisms such as streptococcus mutans and other bacteria. It often develops on teeth above the gum line. Plaque can also form below the gum line . Plaque leads to tartar formation if not removed. You should see your dentist every 6 months.
