Unlikely.: Probably not, because most common pathogen or bacteria causing urinary infection , is e. Coli, which is not covered by zithromax.

Not in your scenario: Though certain bacteria can be susceptible to azithromycin, in your case it is not. Symptoms of a uti, when treated with the appropriate antibiotic, goes away within 24 hours...If you still have pain when peeing, i would recommend calling your doctor to determine if you need a different antibiotics or additional diagnostics to determine the reason for your pain.
