Dr. Ashu Syal answered

No: Cold ( viral illness) very common in this age group. But iron deficiency anemia and hypoproteinemia are not. What is the reason for above two? And the main symptom of eosinophilic esophagitis----- gerd, and uncontrolled asthma. Does he have those two symptoms? You need a pediatrician and pulmonologist to satisfy your concerns.
