No: If one truly conceives, 'period' doesn't come in a couple of days after. However, it is not uncommon to have vaginal bleeding in early pregnancy, but this is not a 'menstrual period.'.

Usually not: Most bleeding after conception is implantation bleeding, which is when the embryo starts to grow into the lining of the uterus. This occurs around 2 or more weeks after conception. Some people can spot earlier if the Progesterone hormone levels are a little low so that the lining of the uterus isn't as well supported.
