I woke up with an eye abrasion from some chemical that spilt into my eye. im a contact lense wearer, when is it safe to slip back into contacts?

See an eye doctor: It is best that you do not start using contact lenses again until an eye doctor clears you. You risk infection, especially in a contact lens wearer, from an abrasion that does not properly heal. You should also be checked to make sure the chemical did not cause any corneal scarring.

Wait some time: When your eye has quieted down for at least a week, the try your contact lenses on a limited time frame and see how you do.
