Typically not bad: Melatonin is not "bad" for you if taken within normal dosages. Melatonin can help regulate sleep rhythms, if taken daily in moderate doses.

Melatonin.: Agree w dr. Giroux. Many of my patients take melatonin. It can be very effective & is usually safe. Possible se’s from melatonin include: feeling tired the next day, sleep walking, nightmares, vivid dreams, dizziness, confusion, headache, GI upset, v libido, v sperm count, gynecomastia in men & mood changes.
