If not sure about my average menstral cycle, can conception date still be determined if gestational age goes by an average 28 day cycle?

If U/S done early...: The ultrasound done early in pregnancy (about 8-11 weeks gestation) can give an accurate estimate of when conception occurred and when the due date will be. An ultrasound done at other times will be less accurate for estimating dates. In the big picture, all dates are estimates, and we humans did fine for thousands of years without any ultrasound dating!
