Chemical peel: Not likely, but that depends how deep the lines are. Glycolic peels are typically light/superficial peels. Stronger peels (such as tca or co2 lasers) are often needed for that. However, forehead wrinkles are most commonly caused by muscle contraction (called the frontalis muscle), and they are best treated by Botox or Dysport injections. The results are quicker and more gratifying!

No: Over the counter glycolic acid products can be a great way to smooth and soften the skin, but they won't erase wrinkles. See a board certified facial plastic surgeon, plastic surgeon or dermatologist for more successful methods to treat forehead lines, such as botox, dysport, injectable fillers or laser treatments.

No: Glycolic peels may improve skin texture but horizontal lines on the forehead are mainly treated by neurotoxins such as Dysport and botox.
