Hip and knee: Unusual presentation. You need careful work up for this. Get good exam with imaging. Sources include nerve, vascular, disc, mass, etc.

Get seen.: Severe pain deserves a full evaluation in person by your physician. I assume you want the answer.... Not just a guess. Symptoms like these deserve a full evaluation in person by your health care provider. This could be nerve pain, vascular pain, muscle pain. But in any event severe pain could indicated something very serious so get seen.
