Sometimes: It all depends on the cause. If no cause is identified, which i think is the rule, no specific treatment can be offered. If the cuase is found, e.g., vascular malformation inside the head, that can be cured in most cases. I would start a workup (ent, neurology, brain mri/mra). For relief, try "white noise" in the background (eg, a fan in the bedroom). Best of luck.

Look for the cause: If possible and then they will tell you if you get red of it or not.Age-related hearing loss. Exposure to loud noise, earwax blockage , ear bone changes, meniere's disease, TMJ disorders. Head injuries or neck injuries, acoustic neuroma. Blood vessel disorders linked to tinnitus .Head and neck tumors.Atherosclerosis. High blood pressure. Turbulent blood flow. Malformation of capillaries.
