Yes.: What you described is near-fainting (near-syncope). It can be caused by the low blood pressure associated with dehydration. It can also be caused by a very low blood sugar. Occasionally, these symptoms can be the result of an inappropriate slowing of the heart rate while ones blood pressure is very low; such a reaction is termed a "vasovagal reaction".

Possibly: Dizziness and sweaty/clammy skin may be a sign of an allergic reaction, heart problems, anxiety, electrolyte imbalance, internal bleeding, low oxygen levels in the blood. A viral infection can start with symptoms like you had. Check with a local doc about anemia and to have them listen to your heart : often it is hard to find an explanation, but if your menses have been heavy, anemia is likely.
