Hype: Green tea is a bunch of hype. The caffiene in green tea can actually cause hormonal imbalances. Vitamin d helps with vitamin d deficiency, however the best source of vitamin d is real sunlight.

Vit D helps: Vit d acts like a hormone. It was given to women with painful periods at dose that averaged 10, 000 units a day with marked improvement. At this dose it should not be given with calcium. Magnesium, iron and zinc are helpful in menstruating women. A healthy diet, not smoking, not drinking, good sleep, moving , and stress reduction helps to balance hormones. Green tea is a healthy drink.
