Knee and leg pain: Consider referred sciatic pain, soleus or gastroc or ham or quad strain, knee effusion, connective tissue disorder, vascular insufficiency, or more ominously dvt/clot.

See a doctor: It sounds like it could be sciatica. See an orthopedist in regards to this. They can offer treatment and see if there are other issues such as arthritis that might be contributing to this.
