Non - risk : As a person who draws blood, you will be following your institution's policies on infection prevention and observe universal precautions while performing your duties. That said, unless you are going home with blood- soaked shoes and allowing you & your family to handle them, then there is no risk in transmitting an infection.

It depends: If your skin on your feet and ankles were intact, and you immediately cleansed your foot and got into new socks and shoes you will likely be fine. I hope you filed a report regarding this incident.
