Absolutely!: In fact, it is strongly recommended. Laser fat removal is not a substitute for dieting. It is for removal of localized areas of fat (such as around the belly button and the "love handles") that do not go away with diet and exercise. Only after you have lost all the unwanted fat you can lose by dieting should you consider laser lipo treatment.

Sure, but . . .: Not too much that your tissues won't heal. As long as your nutrition is good and you lose no more than 2 pounds per week, that is a good plan before undergoing any type of liposuction procedure. I would recommend your weight being stable at your "final" goal for 6-12 weeks before undergoing liposuction. Otherwise, your surgeon is trying to hit a "moving target, " and your results could be reduced.

Weight Loss OK: It is not only ok, but it is often encouraged to lose weight and remain at your stable goal weight prior to liposuction. That is unless you are planning for a fat transfer procedure in which case you still want to keep enough fat to achieve the enhancements that you desire by fat harvest/liposuction.

Yes: As long as the weight loss is not so profound as to create sagging or loose skin.

Yes: Diet/ weight loss prior to liposuction is recommended to attain your ideal body weight. This should be completed prior to liposuction with goal weight stable for 3 months. Liposuction is best utilized to removed fatty deposits not affected by proper diet and exercise. Liposuction is used for contouring and not for weight loss. Do not diet just prior to any surgery..Discuss with your surgeon.

Which lipo laser?: The term lipo laser can be confusing. There is an non invasive light therapy device called lipolaser it claims to help weight loss , but doesnt really. This is very different laser assisted liposuction which is sometimes called laser lipo . This is a surgical procedure that has a long track record of success. Of course, it is ok to lose weight before either treatments.
