Meds safe if needed.: Diagnosis of thyroidopathies is tricky before 12 weeks of pregnancy because of the inherent hormonal changes. If you have seen a maternal-fetal medicine specialist and an endocrinologist and they both recommend Methimazole or propylthiuracil for you, then you should take the prescribed medication as recommended.
