Keep investigating: There are some congenital cardiac defects that can sometimes be undiagnosed until early adulthood.Get echo. The incidence of arteriosclerotic coronary artery disease in non smoking females in the early twenties is extremely rare. However, I have had patients with normally appearing coronaries on angiogram that have suffered a documented myocardial infarct in their teens probably from spasm.
