Cervical vertigo: Yes- although we are still trying to understand this, it is generally recognized by otolaryngologists (ent doctors) that this is a condition referred to as cervical vertigo. A physical exam is needed, often followed by a cervical spine x-ray and MRI to assess the anatomy of the vertebrae, discs, and the nerve rootlets as they emerge between the vertebrae. www.mainline.ent.
