Suicidal thoughts?: If u have suicidal thoughts , go to the er immediately. Taking antidepressant alone. Can work in 45 percent of the time taking medication and therapy work in 85 percent of the time. Make sure u see a therapist also.

Yes: First, if you feel you may be in danger, go to an er immediately. If not, see the doctor who prescribed the sertraline asap. Unfortunately, every med does not work for everyone. It may be time for a dose or med change. Also, consider seeing a counselor as this can help too. In addition, exercise, a healthy diet and light therapy may help. Don't just do nothing! why suffer? Also, if you're 24 or younger, there is a slight possibility that the sertraline is making you feel worse. Again, see your doctor.
