Childhood specialist: Neurology is the subspecialty of medicine dealing with diseases of brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves and muscles. (e.g., epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, parkinson's disease, but also migraine, genetic disorders, neuropathies ) the pediatric neurologist is the specialist who takes care of kids up to 18 yrs or so, and then the adult neurologist addresses problems.
