Tilt table test: Is a medical test used to diagnose dysautonomia or syncope. Candidates are ones with dizziness, lightheadedness or fainting suspected to be due to lowering of blood pressure. Patient lies down on special table, connected to ekg & BP machines, & the table is tilted to standing position.
