See a cardiologist: This situation sounds like autonomic dysfunction which is when your brain-heart regulatory system is malfunctioning. The rise in hr (possibly due to orthostasis (pots is one example, but it can also come from certain meds and dehydration) causes an abnormal baroreceptor response which lowers BP and hr. The treatment varies depending on age and other conditions, so see a cardiologist.
