Tilt table: A tilt table is used to help evaluate possible causes of fainting. The patient starts by lying on the table. It is then is tilted to raise the body to a head-up position. Heart rate and blood pressure are monitored. This test allows doctors to evaluate the body's cardiovascular response to the change in position.

Heart cause of faint: It shows whether you have orthostatic hypotension via a cardiac cause which leads to fainting and lightheadedness when you go from lying to sitting to standing. Treatment is often a beta blocker type drug by mouth.

Tilt table: shows how well you control your blood pressure. Tilting someone upright while they are supported and don't have their feet on the ground can cause the blood pressure to drop in some people (and reproduce symptoms of chronic fatigue if that is the cause). and to diagnose one cause of faiting. http://www.mayoclinic.org/tests-procedures/tilt-table-test/basics/definition/prc-20019879
