What is the definition or description of: coronary artery?

Crown: Coronary artery is the name given to the blood vessels that supply the myocardium. The word coronary was coined by the first anatomists that noticed that if you remove all muscle from the heart the remaining vessels resemble the shape of a corona or crown. Hence the name coronary.
