Bladder surgery.: Surgery on the bladder can be performed using open, larparoscopic, or endoscopic approaches. Indications for bladder surgery include bladder tumors, which are removed by transurethral resection. Invasive tumors require bladder removal, or radical cystectomy. Structural problems, diverticuli, neurogenic or poorly compliant bladder, and bladder stones are other reasons for surgery.
