Mederma: Mederma is an over the counter topical (applied to the skin) treatment the reportedly improves the appearance of scars. Its results are anecdotal like most scar creams (some say it works, some see no improvement). One of many options to treat scars. It is also very important to protect scars from sun exposure with clothing and spf 30-50 or greater. Sun is bad for scars!
