Rest them: Perhaps you need to get more comfortable shoes. I would also recommend giving your feet a rest and not standing for 'long hours'. If work requires it, perhaps you can get a stool to sit on or move around a little more. Good luck!

Talk to a Podiatrist: This can be due to a lot of reasons- improper shoe selection, worn out shoes, or you may need some form of over the counter or prescribed arch supports. Your podiatrist can diagnose the actual cause of your pain, and start you on appropriate treatment. Good luck!

Consider Orthotics: Aching feet from standing may have several causes. One cause is the collapsing of the arch in the foot and a sturdy flexible orthoses may control your rearfoot motion and support the arch. This will ease the tension on the ligaments and ease some of the pain. While you are experiencing the pain you may want to use Aleve or Advil. Spenco is a good brand for these shoe inserts.

OSHA: Your work place is required to provide ergonomically beneficial work place, be it in the form of padded mats for standing, or providing frequent breaks so that you may sit down, or providing seating conducive to your work. If you are overweight, losing weight would help.
