LASIK: If your only problem is a refraction of -7.00 or thereabouts, and you do not want to wear contact lenses, then lasik offers an alternative. Most lasik surgeons would ask you to wait until you are about 23 to allow the power of the eye to stabilize. Try contact lenses in the meanwhile.
