You may need steroid: Allegra (fexofenadine) is more preventive than curative for allergies. You may need low dose steroids like Prednisone for quick relief. Of course if you have chronic allergies you may need the immunocap test done to find out what you are allergic to and if you are a candidate for immunotherapy or in simple words allergy shots for desensitization. Please consult a family doctor or an allergist to discuss this.
