A dermatologist froze off 3 warts on my left hand, and now i have 25+ smaller warts on my left hand. tried burning, and got more warts then too. why?

Viral: Warts are caused by a virus, and occassionally this "rebound" activity will occur. See you doctor again and get a cream to use that will increase your own bodies immune response to fight the wart virus, called aldara (imiquimod). It might work to help your body clear the virus. Don't give up!

Go back !: You have an excellent question - which begs an answer that will be most likely given to you by the dermatologist who performed the procedure. Details are important here because your outbreak of warts could be due to 1.Misdiagnosis 2.Source of infection not yet controlled 3.Development of an immunodeficiency 4. Other diagnoses, maybe/ may not be related to the initial diagnosis of a wart.
