PRESERVATIVES: Polyvinyl alcohol and polyethylene glycol are preservatives that are included in many products and have proven safe in most instances. We really can't be totally sure of safety in pregnancy, since it simply is not possible to test them in pregnant women. However they have been included in many products often used by pregnant women over many years. The amounts included are very minimal.
