That depends : Some skin conditions can cause veins to appear. It could also be from sun damage or could be from venous insufficiency. You probably should want to check with a doctor for the cause of veins on your skin.

Hello doctor, my grandmothers legs are swollen up and her veins are popping out her skin. Theyre everywhere. she cant even take a step without it hurting, her legs have grown twice their size. ive went to multiple doctors, no help. Can you help me?
Most likely cause of sudden(3day) inflamed swollen vein(i think) at skin surface leading to/near right nipple(male 40yo) no chronic illness. Popping out at skin surface with some bruising now and slight soreness to area. Maybe fluid buildup in cap..?
