You are there: Yes, high vitamin b-6 can cause not only a peripheral neuropathy but also spinal cord damage. The maximal daily dose is 400 mg, and, in pts who i treat, typically 100 mg twice daily is a far safer dosage. Stop the b-6 and contact your doctor.
