Shingles: The signs and symptoms of shingles usually affect only a small section of one side of your body. These signs and symptoms may include: pain, burning, numbness or tingling, a red rash that begins a few days after the pain, fluid-filled blisters that break open and crust over, itching, some people also experience: fever and chills, general achiness, headache, fatigue.

Usually with pain: Shingles can cause fairly dramatic pain which is followed within a few days by a rash. It usually appears in a particular location on one side of the body. The rash burns intensely, itches & is made up blisters that open up & crust over. A person could also have a fever, chills, headache and generalized aches & pains with fatigue.
