Irregular w nursing: Many women who are breast-feeding intensively, 6-8 times per day or more, have irregular periods or none at all. This does not mean that they cannot get pregnant, just that it's less likely. Continue birth control if your not planning on pregnancy at this time. There are many options including condoms, iuds, Depo-Provera provera, (medroxyprogesterone) oral mini dose pills.
